Ace Hardware

the guys working there know their stuff and if they don't know something someone there does. not like a bunch of young kids that rely on a computer or phone to give them information. great place and great help.

Nice folks, a little bit on the pricey side though.

Right before Christmas of 2021, I went in with dirty clothes on because I was working on one of my many vehicles. I came in to buy some tools. I spent well over $150, but while I was walking around as the only customer, a female employee was loudly declaring to another employee that she "just hated thieves" and that she couldn't stand people coming into the store trying to steal things. This went on for nearly my entire shopping experience, and was very obviously directed towards me. I am very financially secure, and this made me extremely uncomfortable. I left feeling humiliated. I will still give 3 stars because the selection is amazing for that location and the rest of the staff is very friendly. The place is clean and the parking lot is huge for such a store.

There's no other place like Ace Hardware I've lived in this park of Arkansas all my life I've been to every store around and they stand out every time it's a rare occasion when you cannot find help or friendly smile. I love to go to Ace Hardware even though the economy is killing everybody Ace Hardware is doing the best they can I'm sure. So two thumbs up to the ace.

The first time I went the two women working were very rude. Treated me like. I was an inconvenience to them because they were in the middle of a conversation trashing the other employees which really made me uncomfortable. You had to be there to understand. I decided to give the store another shot yesterday and to my surprise it was just as bad but different people. I will never buy anything from that location again. I would rather drive the extra 30 minutes than to deal with any of that drama again. Works a place for simply that. You're being paid to do a job with integrity especially when dealing with the general public. If you cant muster up a simple hello or even respond to the customer when they're asking something you have no business working in that position.
